Setting your logo, favicon and name display

Give your rental website its own identity with a logo, browser tab icon and your preferred company name display.

Logo and favicon serve different purposes

The logo is the recognisable brand image on your rental website. The favicon is the small icon a browser may show beside a tab or saved website. Upload them separately under Application, in Information and Branding.

Choose a readable logo and a simple favicon that is recognisable even at small sizes. A common image file such as PNG is suitable. The logo may be up to 2 MB; the favicon limit is 1 MB.

Uploading an image

  1. Open Application and find the logo or favicon card.
  2. Click Upload and select the correct image file.
  3. Check the preview. The background button lets you assess visibility against a different background.
  4. If desired, also choose a new image for the other section.
  5. Click Save to record the changes.

Decide what appears at the top

Below the images, choose Show logo, Show company name or Show nothing. Show company name uses the name entered in the same form. If you select Show logo, check that your intended logo is saved.

Use the delete button to remove an image. Save that choice as well. Without a personal image, a default image may be used; to display no branding, deliberately choose Show nothing.

Checking the public display

Reopen the website after saving and check its header and browser tab. Browsers may keep favicons for a long time in particular. If an old icon remains, try a new tab or private window before uploading the same file again. Uploading a logo does not change accommodation photos or highlights.
