Payment Policy

Last updated on: 20-05-2026

These payment terms apply to all subscriptions, payments, invoices and paid services of Homadu, a trade name of Digister. By using Homadu, taking out a subscription or making a payment, you agree to these payment terms.

Homadu provides software that allows users, among other things, to create and manage a professional rental website for accommodations such as holiday homes, B&Bs, apartments and other stays.

Free trial period
Homadu offers new users a free trial period of 14 days. During this trial period, the user can try out the platform and the available features without immediately taking out a paid subscription.

No payment details are required for the free trial period.

After the free trial period ends, the public website is automatically taken offline if no active paid subscription has been taken out. The user can still log in and view the system, but the website’s live status is disabled.

After the trial period has ended, the user can still take out a subscription to put the website live again.

Subscriptions
After the free trial period, the user may choose to take out a paid subscription. Homadu works with subscriptions that are paid periodically in advance.

The current prices, subscription types and included features are listed on the Homadu website or within the user’s account.

Homadu may change prices, subscription types and included features. Any changes that affect existing subscriptions will be communicated to the user in advance, unless the change only applies to new subscriptions or additional services.

Payment period
Subscriptions can be paid monthly or annually, depending on the option chosen.

For a monthly subscription, a one-time payment is first made for the first subscription period. After that, the subscription is automatically collected monthly via the chosen payment method, unless the subscription is cancelled in time.

For an annual subscription, the subscription is paid once per year in advance. After the annual subscription period ends, the subscription may automatically renew annually, unless it is cancelled in time.

The chosen payment period determines the period for which access is granted to the live website and Homadu’s paid features.

Payment via Stripe
Payments to Homadu are processed via Stripe. Stripe is an external payment service provider that securely processes payments.

The user can pay using the payment methods offered within Stripe, including iDEAL, credit card and SEPA direct debit.

When the user chooses iDEAL for a monthly subscription, the first payment is paid once via iDEAL. After that, an automatic monthly direct debit starts for the following subscription periods.

When the user chooses an annual subscription, the amount for the selected annual subscription period is paid in one payment.

Payment by credit card or SEPA direct debit is also possible, insofar as these payment methods are offered. The same subscription, direct debit and cancellation conditions apply to these payment methods as to other payment methods.

Homadu does not store full payment card details or bank details itself. Payment data is processed via Stripe and is subject to Stripe’s terms and privacy policy.

Automatic direct debit and renewal
When the user takes out a paid subscription, the subscription is automatically renewed at the end of each payment period, unless the subscription is cancelled in time.

For monthly subscriptions, the amount due is automatically collected monthly via the chosen payment method.

For annual subscriptions, the amount due is paid annually in advance and, where applicable, automatically renewed annually.

By taking out a subscription and using a payment method, the user authorizes the amounts due to be collected automatically via Stripe.

Invoicing
For each payment, Homadu may make an invoice available. Invoices are provided digitally via the account, by email or in another digital manner chosen by Homadu.

The user is responsible for entering and keeping invoice details up to date, such as name, company name, address, VAT number and email address.

If invoice details are entered incorrectly or incompletely, Homadu is not responsible for any consequences arising from this. Any corrections may be processed afterwards, insofar as this is administratively and legally possible.

Failed payments
If a payment cannot be processed successfully, for example due to insufficient funds, an expired payment method, a refused payment or a technical failure at the payment service provider, Homadu may make several automatic payment attempts.

Homadu uses Stripe to process payments. Depending on the payment method and settings, Stripe may make several payment attempts to process the payment successfully.

If payment is not made after several attempts, Homadu reserves the right to restrict access to paid features, take the public website offline or terminate the subscription.

The user remains responsible for outstanding amounts for the period during which the subscription was active.

Taking the website offline in the event of non-payment
If a payment is not made on time, Homadu may temporarily disable the live status of the website. This means that the public website is no longer visible to visitors.

In many cases, the user can still log in to the account to view data, adjust settings or still complete the payment.

Once the payment has been processed successfully and the subscription is active, the website can be put live again.

Homadu is not liable for damage, missed bookings, loss of revenue or other consequences arising from a website being taken offline due to an expired trial period, a cancelled subscription or a failed or overdue payment.

Cancellation of the subscription
The user can cancel the subscription via the account or by contacting Homadu, depending on the options available within the platform.

After cancellation, the subscription remains active until the end of the period already paid for. After that, the subscription will not renew and the public website may be taken offline.

Cancellation does not entitle the user to a refund of amounts already paid, unless otherwise agreed in writing or where required by law.

No refund in case of interim cancellation
In principle, interim cancellation does not result in a refund of subscription fees already paid.

The user retains access to the paid features until the end of the current payment period, unless the subscription is terminated earlier due to misuse, breach of terms or other compelling reasons.

Any exceptions are only possible if Homadu agrees to this in writing or where required by law.

Extra accommodations and additional services
If the user adds extra accommodations or purchases additional paid services, extra costs may be charged.

These costs will be stated in advance or made visible within the platform. Extra costs may be invoiced immediately or included in the next subscription payment.

If an extra accommodation or additional service becomes part of an ongoing subscription, Homadu may calculate the costs pro rata or process them from the next payment period.

Taxes and VAT
All prices are stated including or excluding VAT.
The user is responsible for correctly providing any company and VAT details.

If the user provides incorrect or incomplete details, invoices or amounts cannot be corrected afterwards.

Payment arrears
In the event of payment arrears, Homadu may temporarily restrict, suspend or terminate the service.

Homadu may also charge reasonable costs related to the collection of outstanding amounts, insofar as permitted by law.

Payment arrears do not release the user from the obligation to pay outstanding amounts.

Changing the payment method
The user is responsible for keeping the payment method up to date.

If a payment method expires, is refused, has insufficient funds or is no longer available, the user must add a new valid payment method in time.

Homadu is not responsible for interruptions in the service caused by the user not having linked a valid or working payment method.

Promotions, discounts and offers
Homadu may offer temporary promotions, discounts or offers. These are only valid under the conditions stated for the relevant promotion.

Discounts do not automatically apply to existing subscriptions, renewals or additional services, unless expressly stated.

If a discount is temporary, the regular rate will be charged after the promotion period ends, unless otherwise stated.

Price changes
Homadu may change the prices of subscriptions and additional services.

Price changes for existing subscriptions will be communicated to the user in advance. If the user does not agree with a price change, the user may cancel the subscription before the new price takes effect.

If the user continues to use the subscription after the price change has taken effect, this is considered acceptance of the changed price.

Termination due to misuse or breach
Homadu may terminate a subscription or restrict access to the platform if the user misuses the platform, fails to meet payment obligations or acts contrary to the general terms and conditions, payment terms, privacy statement or applicable law.

In that case, there is no automatic right to a refund of amounts already paid.

Availability of payment methods
Homadu aims to offer common payment methods via Stripe, such as iDEAL, credit card and SEPA direct debit.

The availability of payment methods may depend on the user’s country, the chosen currency, Stripe’s settings or other technical or legal restrictions.

Homadu cannot guarantee that every payment method will always be available.

Chargebacks and disputes
If a user reverses, disputes or cancels a payment without a valid reason, Homadu may temporarily restrict or terminate access to the subscription, the public website and paid features.

Any costs arising from unjustified chargebacks, disputes or reversals may be passed on to the user, insofar as permitted by law.
