Choosing your main photos and highlights
Select up to five photos for the main presentation and arrange them in a deliberate order.
What are highlights?
Highlights are the photos used to introduce your accommodation. You select them from images already belonging to the property. Choose a strong first photo and add different spaces so guests quickly get an honest picture of the rental.
You can select up to five highlights. All room photos remain available in the photo gallery as well. Choosing highlights is therefore not a replacement for completing the rooms.
Making your selection
- Go to Rooms and photos for your accommodation.
- Open the highlight management function.
- If needed, use the filter to find photos of a particular room.
- Select your preferred images, up to five.
- Continue to the ordering step.
Setting the order
Move selected photos with the up and down actions until the order is correct. You can remove a photo from the selection and return to choose another image. Save the selection when you are satisfied.
One possible sequence is the exterior or best overall view first, followed by the living room, bedroom, bathroom and outdoor space. Choose what represents your accommodation well; five nearly identical photos explain less than a varied selection.
Check the result
Open the public accommodation page and view both the main photos and full gallery. Photos receive a recognisable reference to their room. If you later delete a room photo used as a highlight, check the selection again. Without a suitable personal selection, the website may use other available photos, so choose your main presentation deliberately.
