Adding rooms and building your accommodation layout
Create your accommodation’s actual spaces and complete each room’s photos, description, amenities and beds.
Build the actual layout
Under Rooms and photos, record the spaces that make up your accommodation. Rooms help group photos logically and give guests a clearer picture of the layout. A bedroom, bathroom or living room is then associated with the correct photos and features.
Adding a room
- Open the correct accommodation and choose Rooms and photos.
- Select an available room type.
- Use the button to add the room.
- Open the created room to complete its setup.
- Add room photos, a description, amenities and, where applicable, beds.
If your accommodation has two bedrooms, add two rooms of the bedroom type. Homadu distinguishes multiple rooms of the same type with a number. You do not need to create them as different accommodations.
Recognisable room names and order
The room name follows the selected room type. When there are multiple rooms of the same type, recognisable numbers are used, such as Bedroom 1 and Bedroom 2. The room list is automatically ordered by room type. Photo and highlight order is set separately.
Check what guests see
After completing the rooms, open the public photo gallery. Check whether photos appear under the correct room and whether a room description helps explain the space. Beds and maximum occupancy are different settings: after adding beds, check the maximum number of guests separately under House rules. Do not infer the permitted party size from photos alone.
