Connecting your Airbnb calendar to Homadu
Set up calendar exchange between one Airbnb listing and the corresponding Homadu accommodation.
Bring the Airbnb link into Homadu
On Airbnb’s desktop version, open Calendar for the right listing. Go to Availability and, under Connect calendars, choose Connect to another website. Copy Airbnb’s export link. Labels may appear in another language; see the official Airbnb guide.
- Choose the corresponding accommodation in Homadu and open External calendars.
- Click Add calendar, name the calendar Airbnb and paste the copied link under Import URL (ICS).
- Check the export’s source calendars, save and see whether the import succeeded after processing.
Share Homadu with Airbnb as well
Open the Show export URL action for the Airbnb calendar in Homadu. Copy this channel-specific link. Add it as an external calendar in Airbnb’s calendar connection, give it a recognisable name and save. Airbnb can then receive your own Homadu events and the other sources you selected.
Prefer the Airbnb-specific export for the return connection. This avoids immediately sending events imported from Airbnb back to Airbnb as a source.
Check both sides
Compare a known occupied period on both sides and allow for processing time. Also check which settings belong to the original block: an external platform may include its own preparation rules in its export, for example. Transferring dates does not mean the same pricing or stay rules have been transferred.
If something differs, check the source calendar first, followed by the latest synchronisation in Homadu. Do not share a calendar link in a public message when asking for help.
