Connecting your Booking.com calendar to Homadu

Connect your Booking.com accommodation’s iCal calendar and check the exchange in both directions.

Find the right calendar at Booking.com

Open the correct accommodation in the Booking.com extranet and look for the calendar-exchange option in calendar settings. Copy the iCal export link. Use the official Booking.com guide to calendar synchronisation.

The available view and features can differ by account. If you see no iCal option, check this with Booking.com before continuing. An ordinary link to your listing or extranet does not replace the calendar feed. If you have several rental units, check carefully which unit the link covers.

Import into Homadu and connect back

  1. Choose the same accommodation in Homadu and open External calendars.
  2. Click Add calendar, enter Booking.com as a recognisable name and paste the export link under Import URL (ICS).
  3. Choose which other calendars should be included in the export for this channel and save.
  4. Open Show export URL for the new calendar. Add that Homadu link at Booking.com as a calendar to import, and save there as well.

Check availability and the source of blocks

Wait for processing and compare a known occupied period in both calendars. A Booking.com event appears in Homadu as an availability block, not a complete guest booking. For an unexpected block, first check what the source calendar actually exports.

Calendar exchange does not synchronise Booking.com prices or booking conditions. Check your rates and stay rules separately in Homadu and on Booking.com. Processing time between the platforms also remains.
