Quick start: from registration to a bookable rental website
Set up your first accommodation, check your prices and go through a booking request yourself before sharing your website.
Start with your own accommodation
After registering, you receive your own management environment with a first accommodation. Use the existing setup as a starting point and replace sample text and photos with the details of your holiday rental. You do not need to create another accommodation for this.
Complete the basics in a sensible order
- Open Accommodations and choose your property. Under General, enter its name, description, languages and full address.
- Under Rooms and photos, add the correct spaces, beds and your own photos. Then choose your main photos.
- Complete House rules, Amenities, Location and surroundings and Safety. Add any licence numbers.
- Set up Rates, Service charges and Payment methods. Also check the minimum stay and arrival and departure days.
- Block owner use and existing reservations under Availability. Connect external calendars if you also rent through other platforms.
Make your website recognisable
Under Application, set your company name, contact details, logo and favicon. Under Legal, complete the pages relevant to your rental. These settings apply to your rental website; the accommodation description belongs to the selected property.
Check before publishing
Use Status and actions to make the accommodation visible once its setup is correct. Open View website and check the photos, languages, availability and costs for a sample stay. If useful, submit a clearly labelled test request and check it under Bookings.
Setting a payment method such as bank transfer lets guests select that method. It does not make Homadu automatically debit the booking amount from their account.
