Permanently deleting an accommodation

Delete an accommodation deliberately and understand how this differs from temporarily hiding it or changing your subscription.

First decide whether deletion is needed

Deleting an accommodation is intended for a property you no longer want to manage in Homadu. If you want to continue later with the same setup, choose Hide. For temporary owner use or maintenance, blocking dates is more suitable so that the rest of the calendar remains available.

Deletion is permanent. Keep any information you still need beforehand and check existing bookings and connected calendars. A hidden accommodation can be shown again later; a deleted setup cannot be restored with the same button.

Check your administration

  • Review the bookings belonging to the accommodation and settle outstanding arrangements with guests first.
  • Check whether you still use the accommodation or its calendar export on other platforms.
  • Keep text, photos and administrative information you still need outside Homadu.
  • Check Billing to decide whether you also want to adjust your chosen accommodation limit.

Confirming deletion

  1. Open Accommodations and select the property.
  2. Go to Status and actions.
  3. Click Delete and read the confirmation.
  4. Check the accommodation name again and confirm permanent deletion.
  5. You return to the accommodation overview.

Why is the delete button missing?

At least one accommodation must remain in your environment. You therefore cannot delete the last accommodation. Hide it if you do not want to offer it publicly. Deleting an accommodation does not automatically end your Homadu subscription; change your subscription or quantity separately under Billing.
