Making an accommodation visible or temporarily hiding it

Decide whether guests can view and book your accommodation on the rental website without deleting its setup.

Visibility is different from deletion

Hiding temporarily removes an accommodation from the public rental display. Its setup remains available in your management environment. This is useful while you are still entering text and photos, or when you do not currently want to offer the property.

If you only want to stop renting on certain dates, use a block under Availability. The accommodation then remains visible and guests can choose other available dates.

Changing the status

  1. Open Accommodations and select the correct property.
  2. Choose Status and actions in the accommodation submenu.
  3. Check whether the current status is visible or hidden.
  4. Click Make visible to publish, or Hide to remove the accommodation from public display.
  5. Check the new status and then open View website.

When publishing does not work

The accommodation must finish being created before you can change its visibility. Homadu also checks whether your limit allows another visible accommodation. If you see a limit message, open Billing and check your current number and any scheduled change.

Hiding does not remove the accommodation from your administration or change your chosen subscription quantity by itself. It is therefore not a substitute for adjusting your limit under Billing.

Check the correct website

After publishing, view the public page in the correct language and on the correct domain. Also check dates and the price breakdown. A visible accommodation is only bookable for a particular request if availability and all configured stay conditions allow it.
