Setting your accommodation amenities
Select the facilities present throughout the property and distinguish them from amenities belonging to individual rooms.
Which amenities should you choose?
Under Amenities, indicate which facilities your accommodation offers. Select only what guests can actually use during their stay. Use the available categories and features in the list; these provide a consistent presentation on the website.
A facility for the whole property belongs here. A feature specific to one room can be recorded under room amenities. Safety features and their explanations are managed separately under Safety.
Changing the selection
- Open the desired accommodation.
- Go to Amenities in its submenu.
- Review the available categories and options.
- Select the amenities present and remove outdated choices.
- Click Save.
- Check the list on the public accommodation page.
Set clear expectations
A selected amenity should match what guests can reasonably expect. If a facility is shared, seasonal or available only by arrangement, explain this in the appropriate accommodation or room description. Do not use the amenity selection as a replacement for that important explanation.
If an extra service costs money, configure it under Service charges as well. Selecting a facility alone does not add an amount to the booking.
After changing the interior or facilities
When renovating or changing the setup, check amenities, photos and descriptions together. This prevents an old photo or description promising something different from the facility list. Also view the complete amenities display on the website: the initial summary may show fewer items than your full saved selection.
