Setting your standard nightly and weekend nightly prices

Set your usual nightly price and optionally charge a different price for Friday and Saturday nights.

When does the standard price apply?

The standard rate is the basis for dates without a period rate. The weekend nightly price applies to Friday-to-Saturday and Saturday-to-Sunday nights. A weekend nightly price differs from a fixed weekend package: that package contains several overnight stays.

If you leave the weekend nightly price empty, Homadu uses the usual nightly price for those nights, provided no matching package or period rate applies. An empty field is therefore different from a price of zero euros.

Change the nightly prices

  1. Choose your accommodation and open Accommodations > Rates.
  2. Open the standard rate form.
  3. Enter Price per night, for example 80.00.
  4. Optionally enter Price per weekend night, for example 100.00.
  5. Check the remaining settings and click Save.

Work through a price example

With a nightly price of €80 and a weekend nightly price of €100, a Thursday-to-Sunday stay costs €280 in rent: Thursday €80, Friday €100 and Saturday €100. This example assumes three individual nights, without packages, additional people or service charges.

A period rate has its own price schedule. If you leave its weekend nightly price empty, the period’s nightly price applies within that period. Homadu does not take the weekend nightly price from the standard rate instead.

After saving, view the price breakdown on your website. This change does not automatically give previously saved bookings a new rental amount.
