Using weekend, midweek and weekly packages

Give suitable stays a fixed package price and understand when Homadu applies a package.

Which packages are available?

  • Weekend: Friday to Sunday, two nights.
  • Long weekend: Friday to Monday, three nights.
  • Midweek: Monday to Friday, four nights.
  • Week: seven nights; two weeks: fourteen nights; three weeks: twenty-one nights.

A package is a total price for the relevant number of nights. For a weekly price of €490, enter 490.00, rather than the nightly average of €70.

Set up packages

  1. Open Accommodations > Rates and edit the standard rate or an existing period rate.
  2. Enter total prices for the packages you want to use. Leave unused packages empty.
  3. Check that the minimum stay and arrival and departure days allow the intended stay.
  4. Save and test the corresponding dates on your rental website.

How does Homadu combine prices?

Homadu first applies a matching longer package, such as three, two or one week. A matching midweek, long weekend, weekend or individual nights can follow. The calendar days must match for the shorter packages. The system uses a defined package calculation; it does not compare every conceivable combination to find the absolute lowest price.

For eight nights within the same price schedule, a weekly price of €490 can be combined with an individual night of €80: €570 altogether. A package cannot continue across a transition to different applicable prices. If prices are identical on both sides, that administrative period boundary does not have to interrupt the package.

A package does not set a minimum stay. To offer only weekly stays, set the stay length and permitted changeover days separately.
