Setting minimum and maximum stay lengths
Set stay limits based on the arrival date, including when a stay continues beyond a special period.
The arrival date determines the limits
The minimum and maximum apply to the booking’s full length. Homadu uses the rules that apply on the day the guest checks in. The stay can then continue beyond the period rate without receiving a new minimum or maximum along the way.
Is the standard maximum three nights and a special period’s maximum fourteen nights? An arrival within that period can last up to fourteen nights. An arrival outside the period retains the standard three-night maximum, even if the stay later encounters the special period.
Change the minimum and maximum
- Go to Rates for the selected accommodation.
- Open the standard rate or edit the desired period.
- Enter the required number of nights under minimum stay; at least one night.
- Optionally enter a maximum. The maximum cannot be lower than the minimum.
- Save and check an arrival within and outside the period.
Unlimited stays and the last days of a period
An empty maximum means no separate upper limit on stay length. In a period rate, an empty maximum also means unlimited; Homadu does not fall back to the standard maximum. Actual availability, permitted departure days and the maximum booking horizon still apply.
If a period ends on 18 December with a minimum of three nights, a guest may arrive on 17 or 18 December and continue outside the period. The period’s last days are not closed solely because of its end date. Other rules or an actual block can of course still prevent the selection.
