Writing, translating and publishing legal pages

Manage the shared terms and information pages of your rental website and make only current content visible.

The available pages

Under Legal, manage Terms and conditions, Privacy policy, Payment policy, Disclaimer, Cancellation policy, Cookie policy and Imprint. These pages belong to your rental website and are not separate house rules for one room or accommodation.

Use each page for its own subject. For example, place payment deadlines in the payment policy and cancellation arrangements in the cancellation policy. Ensure these arrangements match what you explain during booking and in your communication.

Completing a page

  1. Open Legal in the sidebar.
  2. Choose Create or Edit for the required page type.
  3. Enter the content through the language fields.
  4. Check the text in the languages used by your accommodations.
  5. Enable the page when its content may be publicly available.
  6. Click Save and check the page on your rental website.

Shared languages and current content

The legal editor uses the active languages of your accommodations together. When you add another accommodation language, also check the shared legal texts. When you edit a page, the newly saved content becomes its current version.

Check your own company details, contact options, payment arrangements and cancellation rules before publishing. Do not copy text describing a different landlord, website or payment method.

Temporarily disabling a page

You can enable or disable an existing page in the overview. Disabling it is not a substitute for updating arrangements already communicated to guests. After changes, also check links in the footer and booking request. Publishing a cookie policy does not itself activate a cookie banner or external cookie integration.
