Viewing your upcoming invoice and downloading previous invoices

Distinguish an invoice estimate from an issued invoice and interpret tax, credit and payment status correctly.

Upcoming invoice

Under Billing → Upcoming invoice, you see an estimate for a future payment. Note the amount, date and tax explanation. Expected to pay can account for applicable VAT and any credit. It is not confirmation that the money has already been collected.

The estimate can change when you adjust the future accommodation quantity, billing interval or approved billing details, for example. During a trial, the card may show the first paid continuation. Also check the separate cards containing scheduled changes.

Finding an issued invoice

  1. Open Billing and go to Invoices.
  2. Find the invoice by issue date and amount.
  3. Check the displayed status, such as Paid or Pending.
  4. Click Download beside the required invoice.
  5. Keep the invoice in your own records and check the details stated on it.

Understanding amounts and older details

The invoice amount and the amount still payable need not be equal. Previous credit can reduce the remaining amount, for example. Also read the invoice’s own tax statement: including an actual VAT amount, reverse charge, exempt or no VAT charged are different situations.

A billing address changed later does not rewrite an already finalised invoice. The same applies to a changed VAT number or a subscription selected later. The invoice retains the details recorded for that issuance.

The invoices on this page concern the Homadu subscription. They are not guest invoices or proof that a holiday stay has been paid to you. For a guest booking, look at that booking’s own cost overview.
