Switching between monthly and yearly billing
Schedule a different billing interval and keep track of the effective date and selected accommodation quantity.
A change for the next period
Under Billing → Subscription, you can select another billing interval. Outside the trial, a switch from monthly to yearly or vice versa takes effect at the end of your current billing period. Your existing month or year is therefore not replaced halfway through.
For example, if your monthly period runs until 15 November and you choose yearly billing, your current month remains in force until that date. The yearly plan begins afterwards on the displayed effective date.
Choosing the other plan
- Open Billing and review your current subscription and next renewal date.
- Select the desired monthly or yearly option.
- Check the price, tax explanation and effective date.
- Save the change and check Plan change scheduled.
- Also check Number of accommodations for the quantity selected for the future period.
Combining this with other changes
A scheduled lower accommodation quantity can take effect together with a monthly or yearly switch. If you then change the quantity, check that the displayed future interval still matches your intention. The sections on Billing are updated after saving.
A plan change may already be scheduled. You will then see a message asking you to cancel it before selecting another plan change. During the trial, you change the choice for the first paid period; the original trial end date is retained.
A plan switch is not a cancellation. If you do not want to renew at all, use the separate cancellation action and check the end date.
