Resolving a failed payment or additional payment confirmation

Check your payment method and invoice and complete any bank or Stripe confirmation requested.

Why a payment needs attention

A subscription payment can fail because of insufficient funds, an expired or replaced card, or a refusal by the bank, for example. Sometimes the payment method is usable but you still need to confirm a payment with your bank. This can also happen with a card used successfully before.

Stripe processes subscription payments and can send you a payment or confirmation link. A payment-method message is different from a Homadu request to correct VAT details. If in doubt, first open your administration area yourself using the address you know.

How to check the situation

  1. Open Billing and read the message beside your subscription.
  2. Check under Invoices whether a payment is still pending or unpaid.
  3. Check the current payment method and replace it using Change if necessary.
  4. Complete the requested payment or additional bank confirmation through the secure Stripe payment page provided.
  5. Then check the invoice and subscription status again; processing may take some time.

Access and trying again

The effect on your access depends on the current subscription status and further payment processing. A temporary payment arrears situation is not the same as a fully ended subscription. If payment remains outstanding or the subscription ends or is paused, ordinary access can cease.

Do not repeatedly start a new subscription to bypass an existing outstanding payment. Resolve the requested payment action first. As the owner, you can continue opening Billing even when ordinary access has expired.

If the status remains unclear, contact Homadu and include the date and error message. Never send full card details, security codes or banking login details.
